I suppose you’d like to know a bit about this book. I won’t release the updated version until February, when my online store opens. And I’m not even finished with the editing, revising, proofreading process. Thus I can’t tell you much about the new version. The old version is no secret, although it is technically out of print. (When does any eBook really go out of print?). The original title was The Cowboy and the Caddy. That’s been changed to Her Cadillac Cowboy. The blurb is pretty much the same.
“A rich cowboy with a classic Cadillac—sounds like the stuff of dreams for a small-town Texas girl, right? Wrong! Josh McKinley and his classic car have been Sara Carson’s nightmare since Josh left ten years ago. Now the cowboy and his Caddy are back. Sara must choose between loyalty to her family and love for the one man she shouldn’t want.
“Is the key to Sara Carson’s heart the Cadillac that their families have been feuding over for ten years? Or will Josh McKinley have to give up the car he treasures in order to win the woman he loves?”
Wish I could show you the new cover, done by the outstanding Rae Monet but as I said earlier it’s really too early to show much other than the basic. Those basics explain why a revised edition of this book presents a favorable opportunity. Please leave a comment and tell us about your favorable opportunity. My most favorable opportunity? In my whole life, it would have been meeting a young man at a prayer meeting when I was 18. A week after my 19th birthday, we fell in Lust and the rest is history.
That’s so cool. I fell in lust with my DH too (We were 25 at the time). 42 years later we’re very much in love. Great notion for a favorable opportunity.
Congratulations, Rue. Look forward to reading it! All the best with the process between now and February.
Thank you Jude.
Congratulations on the new and improved Her Cadillac Cowboy, Rue! Wishing you thousands of sales so you can buy a new caddie.:)
My favorable opportunity came when a dear friend told me to write a series of cookbooks. Opened a whole new world that I adore.
It takes a sharp mind to recognize and opportunity when it comes along. I’ve always said that an opportunity is a miracle waiting to happen.
